Reinforce image of NikeWomen on an international level

Background

In order to increase the appreciation of women in sports and inspire a new generation of female athletes, NikeWomen will start the pan-European campaign Here I Am in 2008. This is an excellent opportunity to increase the connection between women, sports and Nike on an international level.

Approach

Het PR BUreau is responsible for developing and coordinating the PR strategy for the EMEA region (Europe, the Middle East and Africa). This international PR campaign starts with consumer research among 10,000 European women to investigate the impact of sports on their life. The press information on the basis of this research is supported by calling in top athletes from various countries as enthusiastic ambassadors.

Result

More than 400 publications throughout Europe, including titles in the Netherlands such as ELLE Girl and Spits, about women, sports and Nike.
