For the launch of the new flagship smartphone, we created a PR approach to attract lifestyle media and influencers to tech brand Huawei.

Brief 

Create a PR strategy to attract attention from tech, influencers and lifestyle media for the Huawei brand and its new flagship smartphone. Make sure the lifestyle audience will experience the excellent photography features and the colourful design. 

Insight

A lot of consumers are creators nowadays. Smartphones are used for quick and simple family portraits to high quality videography. The new HUAWEI P30 series is the answer for everyone who wants it all. Tastefully designed smartphones with striking colours and the best camera in the world. 

Concept 

Rewrite the rules of photography. 

We made an integrated campaign consisting of earned media supported by paid, social and owned media, to bring the launch of the Huawei P30 Series to live. 

We brought tech and lifestyle media together in this press trip to Paris by organizing a boat tour through the Seine river. To earn the attention of the lifestyle media and influencers we created a photography tour along the coolest photogenic hotspots in Paris. Experiencing the outstanding photography features of the Huawei P30 would make them be blown away about this new flagship phone! In collaboration with our media partner Cosmopolitan we made the first Dutch AR cover. Influencer Rianne Meijer, who also joined us on the press trip to Paris, was the cover model for this issue.

Results

We organized a press trip with over 60 Dutch journalists and influencers to Paris. We had over 630 clippings with an earned reach of 170,213,268 media impressions.
